33 participants take part in the instructors seminar held in Maputo this week
The Mozambique Football Association is hosting a beach soccer technical seminar this week, conducted by Brazilian star coach and FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup champion Gilberto Costa.
33 participants from across the country are taking part in the event, hosted in Maputo, between the 22 and 26 November.
The course deals with both technical and tactical aspects of beach soccer, including training and physical conditioning, with the objective of providing the coaches with the tools to foster the development of beach soccer in the country.
“Mozambique is a country with a huge potential to develop beach soccer. They already played very competitively in the last FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup and they are looking to grow and keep learning”, Costa said.
The FMF president, Feizal Sidat, assured that the federation is strongly committed to the development of beach soccer. At the same time he insisted to all the participants on the responsibility each of them has in this mission.
