Superfinal line-up confirmed as top five from Regular Phase join hosts Italy in Viareggio
The Women’s Division of the Euro Beach Soccer League concluded its Regular Phase in Castellammare di Stabia, setting the stage for an exciting Superfinal showdown in Viareggio.
The final round of matches proved decisive, as teams fought not only for crucial points but also for a place at the Superfinal. Portugal topped the standings, closely followed by Switzerland, whose overall points tally edged out Czechia’s from Stage One in Puerto de Santa María. They will be joined by Spain, Poland, and Ukraine, who had already secured qualification there, while host nation Italy completes the six-team line-up, setting the stage for a thrilling battle for continental supremacy.
Switzerland win 8-1 against Netherlands.
Switzerland opened with a late goal by Morger, with just two minutes remaining in the first period, to give her side a narrow 1-0 lead heading into the break.

The second period saw the Swiss side extend their advantage through goals from Küffer and Eisenegger, establishing a comfortable 3-0 cushion. The Netherlands, meanwhile, struggled to gain momentum as they headed into the final period without a goal.
Switzerland’s dominance continued in the third period. Eisenegger added her second of the match, followed by a strike from Inderwildi. Two own-goals from the Dutch side compounded their woes. Eisenegger completed her hat-trick, with Nancy adding the final touch to seal an emphatic 8-1 win for the Swiss.
Portugal win 4-3 against Italy.
Portugal took the lead midway through the first period courtesy of Ema’s composed finish, to close the period with a 1-0 advantage.

Italy responded early in the second period, with Ferrazza drawing them level. Portugal regained control as Mélissa and Cristiana both found the net, but Nietante pulled one back for Italy before the end of the period, making it 3-2.
Italy pushed hard in the final period and were rewarded when Olivieri struck to make it 3-3. Mélissa stepped up once again, netting the winner to hand Portugal a hard-fought 4-3 victory.
