Spain, Italy, and Ukraine maintain perfect records heading into the final day.
The second day of matches took place in Chișinău, with vital points at stake. Spain and Poland came through tight Group A contests, while Italy and Ukraine continued their unbeaten run in Group B, building strong momentum heading into the final day of the regular stage.

Group A
Spain win 5-4 against Denmark.
Denmark took an early lead with goals from Damm and Hoede in the opening period. Spain responded with a brace from Bráin to make it 2-2, and Chiky Ardil added a third to put La Roja in front. Lucht struck before the break to draw Denmark level at 3-3.

In the second period, D. Ardil found the net to restore Spain’s lead at 4-3, while Denmark pressed but couldn’t capitalise on their chances.
The final period saw Frandsen make it 4-4 for Denmark, but Chiky Ardil had the final say, scoring his second to clinch a narrow 5-4 victory for Spain.
Poland win 6-5 against Moldova, after extra time.
Poland struck first in the opening period, with Niesler finding the net just a minute before the break to end the period with 1-0 lead.

Fudała doubled Poland’s lead early in the second period, but Moldova hit back with goals from Gherganov and Cojocari to bring it level at 2-2 heading into the final period.
The third period saw both sides go all out. Fudała added two more to complete his hat-trick, with Witkowski also on target for Poland. Moldova responded through a brace from Sîrghi and a goal from Ignat to tie the game 5-5 and send it into extra time. In the additional period, Błaszczak fired in the decisive goal to hand Poland a dramatic 6-5 victory.
Group B
Italy win 4-1 against France.
Italy started with intensity and precision, taking control of the first period through well-taken goals from Sassari and Giordani. The early 2-0 cushion gave the Azzurri confidence going forward.

In the second period, Italy continued to dominate possession and dictate the tempo. Santini struck with a clever finish, and Fazzini added another to make it 4-0, putting the match out of France’s reach.
France pulled one back early in the final period through Bru, but Italy stayed organised at the back and managed the game well to secure a convincing 4-1 win and back-to-back victories in Chișinău.
Ukraine win 5-1 against Latvia.
Late drama shaped the opening period. Latvia struck first through Grislis with just four minutes to go, but Ukraine responded quickly via Voitenko and Levchenko moments before the break to put their side 2-1 ahead.

Ukraine maintained control in the second period. Samoilenko extended their lead midway through the period, and Voitok added another to make it 4-1, putting clear distance between the two teams.
In the final period, Korniichuk capped off the scoring to seal a confident 5-1 win for Ukraine, securing their second straight victory in Group B.
