Euro Beach Soccer League Moldova 2025 is underway in Chișinău

Spain, Italy, Ukraine, and Denmark win on opening day.


The Euro Beach Soccer League – Division A resumed with its final regular stage in Chișinău, Moldova. Opening day delivered standout performances, dominant victories, and narrow escapes, as four teams kicked off their campaigns with crucial wins.

Group A
Spain win 3-1 against Poland.

Spain kicked off their campaign in Chișinău with a composed victory over Poland. Chiky Ardil opened the scoring just three minutes into the first period, but Poland responded quickly through Brochichi to bring the game level before the break.

In the second period, Spain found their rhythm and pulled ahead. Goals from Gatica and D. Ardil gave La Roja a solid 3–1 advantage heading into the final period.

Despite Poland pushing hard in the closing period, Spain remained disciplined and preserved their two-goal lead to secure all three points in a confident display.

Denmark win 3-2 against Moldova.
Denmark and hosts Moldova played out a tense first period, with both teams creating opportunities but unable to convert. The opening period ended goalless.

The second period brought goals, as Sîrghi broke the deadlock for Moldova two minutes after the restart. Denmark responded swiftly, Lucht levelled the score before Pilgaard added another to give the Danes a 2-1 edge heading into the final period.

With just two minutes left in the third period, Cojocari equalised for Moldova to raise hopes. But Denmark had the final say, as Hoedeman struck to seal a hard-fought 3-2 win.

Group B
Italy win 9-0 against Latvia.
Italy delivered a dominant performance against Latvia, opening the match with goals from Remedi and Sciacca to take a 2–0 lead into the first break.

The Azzurri turned up the pressure in the second period, with Fazzini, Josep Jr, Sassari, and a second from Remedi extending their advantage to 6–0. Latvia struggled to respond under relentless Italian pressure.

In the final period, Remedi completed his hat-trick, Fazzini added his second, and Giodani joined the scoresheet to cap off a commanding 9–0 win and a clean sheet for Italy.

Ukraine win 7-2 against France.
Ukraine edged ahead in the first period with a single goal from Maksymets, giving them a narrow 1-0 lead after a closely contested opening.

They extended their lead in the second period as Levchenko struck twice, pushing Ukraine further ahead at 3-0, while France continued to struggle in front of the goal.

The final period saw Ukraine shift into top gear. Levchenko completed his hat-trick, while Voitenko dazzled with three goals of his own. France pulled two back through Belhomme and Salazar, but Ukraine’s dominance sealed an emphatic 7-2 victory.
