Real Münster, Bavaria Beach Bazis, Beach Royals Düsseldorf and Rostocker Robben to contend 2022 trophy
Following playoff matches on 30 and 31 July, there are four sides left in the battle for the 2022 German national beach soccer title.
Real Münster, Bavaria Beach Bazis, Beach Royals Düsseldorf and Rostocker Robben will play the semi-finals on 20 August, and the final and third-place playoff will then be played on 21 August.
Sven Körner (Rostocker Robben) and Die Mannschaft number 10 Joscha Metzler (Real Münster) lead the scoring charts with 21 goals each.
Reigning champions Beach Royals Düsseldorf, who were undefeated going into the weekend’s matches, lost all three of their games, opening the door for two-time Euro Winners Cup semi-finalists, Real Münster to jump to the top of the standings and take the top seeding in the semi-finals.
Real Münster will go up against Bavaria Beach Bazis in the semi-finals, while Beach Royals Düsseldorf will play against Rostocker Robben.
