Fusija win first-ever Croatian beach soccer league

The Zagreb club finished first in the maiden edition of the championship after five rounds


Fusija from Zagreb are the winners of the first Croatian beach soccer championship.

Fusio were the most successful after three stages of the maiden edition of the championship, played in Umag and Velika Gorica, which also hosted the last stage.

In the final tournament, the second-placed team in the overall standings, Pula, was absent. In the match for third place, Pješčana Oluja from Zagreb beat Umag 9-5, and in the match for fifth, Gorovo from Opatija defeated Zagreb’s Varadero 10-6.

At the end of the competition, the awards were handed out by the Mayor of Velika Gorica, Krešimir Ačkar, and the Secretary of the Commission for Futsal and Beach Soccer, Romeo Čižmešija, and the winning trophy was presented by Boris Durlen, Vice President of the Commission for Futsal and Beach Soccer.
