The club went unbeaten to lift a momentous sixth title in as many editions
MFC Spartak are the 2021 Bulgarian beach soccer champions!
They won their sixth league title in a row on Tuesday 5 September, their 10th championship in total.
The team led by Simeon Hristov took nine victories from nine games to claim the well-deserved trophy.
In the 2021 season, the competition was organised in two stages, regular season and finals, where MFC Spartak won all the matches. The team defeated Athletic 14-1, then FK Ruse 6-1 and SA MVR 6-2 in the final stage.
MFC Spartak have now gone four years without a loss in the Bulgarian league.
Earlier this year, Simeon Hristov’s team became the first Bulgarian team ever to reach the Euro Winners Cup quarter-finals and took the eighth place after losing on penalties to the local Nazaré side, ACD Sotao in the seventh-place playoff.
