Euro Winners Cup 2024 – Day 2 round-up

The second day of the competition took place in Nazaré


Teams looked to secure points on the second day of action in the Euro Winners Cup 2024…

Group A
Real Münster 6-3 against CD Victoria.
The first goal went to Victoria as Andrei sunk the ball into the back of the net. Real Müster hit back through Karolak to level the game. Andrei scored his brace for Victoria to retake the lead in the first period.


The second period saw four goals for the German side coming courtesy of Oba, Hodel double and Dmais put Münster 5-2 up.

Metzler scored to make the scoreline 6-2. Bernal scored to give Victoria some hope with just under seven minutes to play.
The game ended with Real Münster taking all three points.

ACD O Sótão win 13-1 against ES Brainoise.
Brainoise made the first move, and it was Rodriguez who put the Belgian side ahead within the first two minutes. With two minutes left of play Jordan scored the equaliser for Sótão before the first period ended.

45 seconds into the second period it was Sótão who took the lead through Chicky Ardil. D. Ardil scored to make it 3-1 and an onslaught arrived for Brainoise with Batalha, Bernardo, Duarte Vivo and another from Chicky Ardil to make it 7-1 to the localside.
The third period saw a hat trick completed from Chicky Ardil along with a fourth. Lança added to make it 10-1. Two more goals were scored by Chicky Ardil. to top of the day, Chicky Ardil scored his seventh of the day and giving Sótão the win.

Group B
Falfala KQ BSC win 8-2 against Bavaria Beach Bazis.
Falfala started quickly as within the first minute a goal by Rodrigo set them on their way after their 17-0 win yesterday. Amer Yatim made it 2-0 shortly after it was Ott’s turn to score. Beach Bazis took a goal back through Rühl to make it 3-1. The final piece of action came from Falfalaa’s Bruno Xavier to make it 4-1 in the first period.


Ott and Rodrigo both scored their braces to extend Falfala’s lead in the second period. The Israeli side took a 6-1 lead into the final period.

The last 12 minutes of the game saw more goals for Falfala as Amer Yatim scored again and Jabareen put them 8-1 ahead. Bavaria Beach Bazis scored a consolation goal through Bühl but it wasn’t enough.

Spartak Varna win 9-2 against Frösö IF.
It was Frösö who broke the deadlock through Samuel before three quick goals for Spartak by Igor, Balinha and Ryan to make it 3-1 to the Bulgarian side. Six seconds before the first period ended, Igor scored a fourth for Spartak.


Going into the second period, Spartak added a fifth through Martinov. Frösö scored their second of the game through that goalscorer again, Samuel. Ryan added a sixth along with Dimitrov to top the second period with their seventh.

The final 12 minutes saw two more goals for the Bulgarian side courtesy of Balinha who completed his hat trick. The game ended with a score of 9-2 to Spartak Varna.

Group C
SC Braga win 11-0 against BS Slavia.
The first goal of the game came from the Portuguese team Braga, Felipe Silva was the scorer. The scoring continued for Braga as it was 2-0 through Bê Martins. The first period ended 2-0 to Braga.

Within the first minute Bê Martins slotted home the Portuguese sides third goal of the game. Pintado made it four. Lourenço scored shortly after followed by Brilhante who made it 6-0. A complete uphill battle for Slavia Praha to come back from.

In the third period, it was raining goals for Braga as a Pintado double, Léo Martins double help them to get to double digits. Bokinha added his name to the scoresheet as he made it 11-0. The game ended with a landslide victory for SC Braga.

Bonyhád BFC win 4-2 against Marseille BT.
Only one goal in the first period and it came for Marseille BT as Taka scored to put the French team ahead.

The second period arrived and Vénosz scored an early equaliser for Bonyhád. Shortly after they had a goal to put them in front with Patócs the goal scorer. Marseille equalised through Addarii 30 seconds later but Patócs scored his brace to put Bonyhád back in front with the score as 2-3.

The third period saw a hat trick completed by Patócs as Bonyhád went 2-4 up with 5 minutes remaining.
Bonyhád claimed all three points after a 2-4 win.

Group D
Mouilleron SF win 6-4 against BSC Husty.
Only one goal in the first period and it came for Marseille BT as Taka scored to put the French team ahead.

The second period arrived and Vénosz scored an early equaliser for Bonyhád. Shortly after they had a goal to put them in front with Patócs the goal scorer. Marseille equalised through Addarii 30 seconds later but Patócs scored his brace to put Bonyhád back in front with the score as 2-3.

The third period saw a hat trick completed by Patócs as Bonyhád went 2-4 up with 5 minutes remaining.
Bonyhád claimed all three points after a 2-4 win.

Farmaè Viareggio win 10-5 against ACS West Deva.
The Italian side shot out of the blocks with two quick goals coming via Bertacca and Gori. Rainer halved the deficit to make it 2-1 but it was quickly followed by three goals for Viareggio as Eudin, Bertacca and Genovali scored. The score went into the second period as 5-1.

West Deva pulled two goals back within the first minute to make it 5-3 with goals for Cosmin. Gori scored for Viareggio then Fabricio scored to bring the scoreline to 6-4. Fazzini and Genovali made it 8-4 to give themselves some breathing space. Gori scored an own goal for Viareggio. To end the second period, it was Genoviali to complete his hat trick to put the Italian team 9-5 up going into the final 12 minutes.

The final period and Bertacca who completed his hat trick and scored goal number 10 for Viareggio. The game ended 10-5 to Viareggio who claimed the three points.

Group E
Riga FC win 4-2 BS Altena.
The only goal of the first period went to Riga within the first minute as Igor Ricardo scored to put the Latvian team in front. They took at 1-0 lead into the second period.


An evenly contested second 12 minutes however it was Pastars who scored to give his side a two-goal lead.

The final period and Altena found a goal to halve the scoreline through Van Andel with 3 minutes left of play. Unfortunately for Alterna, Riga scored two quick goals through Bernardo and Rimkus to put the game out of Alterna’s reach. A consolation goal for Van Andel made the score 4-2 however it wasn’t enougb for the Dutch team.

Recreativo de Huelva win 12-0 against FC Baggio.
The first period saw Huelva take control early on as Jose, Carballo and Camacho scored to make it 3-0 with six minutes left of play. Cassano added to the scoring in the first period as the Spanish team took a 4-0 lead into the second period.


Cassano scored his second of the game followed by Brian’s goal to make it 6-0 to Huelva with eight minutes left of play. The scoring didn’t stop for Huelva as Gerlan and Edson scored bringing the game up to 8-0.

Into the third period and Brian scored to make it 9-0 without reply. Three more goals followed in the third period through Suli, Jose and Jairo taking it up to 12-0 with four minutes left.

The game ended 12-0 to Recreativo Huelva to claim three points.

Group F
BSC Pafos win 5-0 against BSC Batumi.
It was the Cypriot team who started off the strongest with two goals from Mateusinho saw them take a two-goal lead into the second period.


Netinho scored the third goal for Pafos and with 18 seconds to go, Klitou scored to end the second period with Pafos taking a four-goal lead into the last 12 minutes.

Into the final period of the game and Mateusinho scored his hat trick after a lovely bicycle kick sailed into the net. The Cypriot side claimed a comfortable three points.

BSC Nistru win Rostcoker Robben 6-5.
The first goal of the game went to Rostocker Robben as Pablo Pérez scored to put the German team 1-0 up in the first period. Jose Carlos scored to increase the lead going in the second period.

Two quick and early goals helped Nistru to bring the game level through Popescu in the second period. The lead didn’t last long as Pablo Pérez scored his second goal of the game to put Rostocker Robben back in front. The German side lead 3-2.

Into the final period and a mistake by the Rostocker Robben goalkeeper allowed Sîrghi to equalise for Nistru. Pablo Pérez scored his hat trick to retake the lead for the German team. Körner scored to extend the scoreline to 5-3. Popescu gave his side hope after scoring his hat trick to make it 5-4 with just over a minute left of play. Nistru found an equaliser quickly after through Popescu again. That goal brought the tie into overtime.
In overtime Nistru scored with two seconds remaining to win the game with a goal from Cojocari.

Group G
Lenergy Pisa BS win 9-0 against Platja De Roses.
Edson Hulk opened the scoring of the game for Pisa before adding to his tally with five seconds remaining of the first period.

The second period saw Edson Hulk complete his hat trick to make it 3-0 to Pisa. Domingo scored an own goal which rubbed salt into the wounds for Platja de Roses. Mariani Simo scored swiftly after to take the game to 5-0.

The final period and Mariani Ste scored, the goalkeeper for Pisa, Casapieri scored to add to the goalscoring. Edson Hulk completed his hat trick and the final action of the game came from a goal by Pugliese to end the game 9-0 to the Italian team.

AD Nazaré 2022 win 3-2 against Minots De Marseille.
The first period saw an opening goal for Marseille through Thioune which they took into the second period.


Digao scored to equalise for Nazaré in the first minute of the second period. Marseille retook the lead with Riduan with the score 2-1.

Into the third period and Pablo found an equaliser for Nazaré as the local side look for a winner. With 22 seconds remaining Digao with his second of the day scored the winner to give Nazaré all three points.

Group H
TSOR win 5-2 against GRAP.
The first action of the game fell for TSOR as Drozd smashed home an early goal for the Belarussian team. That was all for the first period. TSOR took a 1-0 lead into the second period.


The second period and a goal within the first two minutes for GRAP as Vasco struck the ball past the TSOR goalkeeper. The final 12 minutes and both sides are equal.

The final 12 minutes and a goal for Grap within the first three seconds, it was Piatrouski who scored from kick off. A goal to TSOR and Drozd scored his second of the game and TSOR’s third to make it 1-3. A goal for GRAP as Guerra reduces the scoreline to one with five minutes remaining. TSOR scored again to increase their lead back to two goals and this time from Hardzetski with three minutes to hold out on. Two minutes left of play and Novikau score their fifth of the game to put the Belarussian team three goals ahead. TSOR were too strong for GRAP, and this saw them take all three points.

Catania BS win 2-1 against Rosh Haayin.
The first two periods had the sides locked together with no team making the first move. It was an evenly matched two periods. It was all to play for in the final 12 minutes.


The first goal went to Catania after a free kick by Josep Jr bounced right over the goalkeeper leaving him with no chance of saving it. With four minutes left of the period, there was an equaliser for Rosh Haayin by Elihay.

The game couldn’t be decided in normal time so added time was needed. The deadlock was broken by Iguigno with just over a minute to hold on.
The Italian side held out to claim two points with a win.

Group I
ASD Napoli win 7-4 against Ercis Spor.
The first period saw the Italian team go 2-0 up within the first three minutes with goals by Lucao and Zurlo before two goals from Ercis Spor courtesy of Kaya and Alejandro. Zurlo scored 20 seconds after the equaliser to put Napoli back in front with the score being 3-2 going into the second period.


Into the second period and it was Napoli who struck first and within the first 30 seconds, it was Alla who put his side 4-2 up. Alejandro for Ecris Spor scored and made it 4-3 leaving them a goal behind. Sciacca scored to put two goals ahead again with eight seconds left of the second period.

The final 12 minutes and two quick goals for Napoli courtesy of Alla again and Sanfilippo give the Italian side a 7-3 lead. The final goal of the match came from Barboza for Ercis Spor but it wasn’t enough to pick up the win for the Turkish team.

Napoli Patron win 4-3 against Havana Shots.
Napoli Patron started the game on the front foot with a goal coming from Pareja. This was the only goal of the first period.


Al Mohammad made it 2-0 to the Greek side followed by Diamantopoulos as it went to 3-0. Havana Shots scored straight from kick off with a goal from Rodrigues to give the Swiss side some hope. With three minutes left to play in the second period, Ali Mohammad scored a brace to put Napoli 4-1 ahead.

Havana shots started on the front foot with a goal from Vetter. A goal for Havana Shots as they now reduce the lead to just one goal courtesy of Woodtli Y. The game ended with a win for Napoli Patron by 4-3.
