Vila Flor SC win 3-2 against Porto Mendo.
A level first 12 minutes of play. The sides were locked in with it all to play for in the remaining two periods.
It was Vila Flor in the second period who took control of the tie with two quick goals coming from Fabio and Cabral to put Vila Flor in front. Porto Mendo hit back seconds later with a goal by Rui O. Vila Flor restored their two-goal lead courtesy of Toni. The game was 3-1 going into the final 12 minutes.
With one minute left of play, Caçula scored for Porto Mendo to give them a lifeline however it wasn’t to be for Porto Mendo as they crash out of the tournament.
GD Sesimbra win 8-4 against FC Genappe.
The second quarter final of the day and the opening goal went to Genappe as Vlaminck scored to make it 0-1. 48 seconds left of the period and Diogo Bernardo equalised for Sesimbra.
the second period of the game, Gonçlo Loureiro took the lead for Sesimbra, Ennya then equalised for Genappe to make it 2-2. Diogo Bernardo and Simão M give Sesimbra a 4-2 lead and some breathing room going into the final period.
Genappe pulled a goal back to make it 4-3 via Huby but B and Gustavo D scored as Sesimbra went three goals in front. Diogo Bernardo scored his third and fourth goal of the game as Sesimbra cruise into the semi-finals by winning 8-4.
GD União Ericeirense win 5-4 against AO Keffalinia.
The third quarter final of the day and GDUE scored the opening goal through Merendas to make it 1-0. Kefallinia equalised through Gritzalis but less than a minute later Vitinho retook the lead for GDUE with three minutes left of the first period.
The second period and the only goal came for GDUE as Macau scored to make it 3-1. Kefallinia reduced the deficit via Katsoulis with 10 minutes left. Kefallinia quickly scored two goals which saw an equaliser as Evgeniou and Triantafyllidis scored to make the last seven minutes interesting. A goal for GDUE with two minutes left as Macau scored his second of the game.
GDUE booked their place in the semi-finals as they survived a Kefallinia comeback.
Leixões SC win 5-1 against GD Alfarim.
The final quarter-final of the draw and the first blood went to Alfarim as Galvão opened the scoring in the first period. They took a narrow lead into the second period.
The second period was a goal fest for Leixões as Pedrinho equalised, Miguel Junior at the double and Trivelas turned the game on its head for Leixões. The second period ended with a scoreline of 4-1 to Leixões as they had 12 minutes to hold out for a place in the semi-finals.
The final period and the nail in the coffin for Alfarim as Ramalho scored to see Leixões progress into the semi final.
