Spain, Brazil and USA to contest against hosts Russia in the maiden edition of the competition as match schedule is released
The first edition of the Women’s Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup, to take place in Moscow (Russia) between 13 and 15 of August, boasts an amazing lineup of participants.
Together with hosts Russia, undeniably one of the best teams in the world, continental rivals Spain, who are the current World Beach Games gold medalists, Brazil, the best team in South America and Concacaf Giants USA will vie in the most prestigious Women’s beach soccer competition in the world.
Besides the spectacular beach soccer action brought by these world-class teams, the Women’s Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup will offer an unparalleled backdrop, as the competition will be held in the very same stadium as the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Moscow, an amazing beach soccer temple being built right by the Luzhniki stadium on the banks of the Moskva river.
Beach Soccer Worldwide and the Local Organising Committee have released the match schedule for the competition, which will see Spain and Brazil opening the action on 13 August (6:00 pm local time), followed by the debut of hosts Russia, who will take on USA at 7:30 pm later the same day.
