Victoria Beach Soccer claim Torneo Internacional Javi Torres

A tight 5-4 over French side Minots Marseille gets the hosts the cup

Victoria Beach Soccer are the winners of the first ever Torneo Internacional Javi Torres, held this past weekend in Conil de la Frontera, Cadiz (Spain).

The hosts, with Spain’s internationals Juanmi, Adri Frutos, Domi and Fran Mejías in their ranks, together with the twins Javi and Cristian Torres, edged Minots de Marseille in the final, with a tight 5-4.

In the fight for the third place, Denmark champions Copenhagen BSC bent Malaga CF, with England star Aaron Clark, to secure bronze.

Copenhagen’s Axel Damm and Javi Torres (Victoria BS) were named the best player in the competition, with Minot’s Samir being awarded the Best Goalkeeper award.

It it worth remembering that the I Torneo Internacional Javi Torres was a competition fully sanctioned by Beach Soccer Worldwide, and the teams participating earned points for the BSWW Overall Ranking.
