Tickets for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Tahiti 2013 are already on sale, after the official Ticketing was launched yesterday in Papeete (Tahiti). The first supporters already queued for the first tickets to enjoy this unique event, taking place in the capital of the French Polynesia between 18th and 28th of September.
The Ticketing launch was announced yesterday, in a press conference held at the Tiki Store. The president of the Local Organizing Committee, Vairani Davio, the Head of ticketing, Kevin Kucsera and Henriette Kamia, President of the Fédération Tahitienne de sports adaptés et handisports (Tahitian Federation of adapted and disabled sports), sat the conference.
Two options will be available to enjoy this seventh edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup from the stands. Either the popular seats, which will give access to the Tahua Toa?Ta stadium for one whole day, or the VIP tickets, which will comprise the whole event and will offer extra features, such as catering service, VIP grand-stand seats, access to the VIP lounge, reserved parking slot, etc.
The tickets can be purchased at the Tiki Store (Centre Vairama, Papeete), and as of the first day of the competition, at the stadium ticket offices, too. And, of course, for international fans, an on-line service will be available at FIFA.com as of next Monday (August 5th).
Besides, the inhabitants of the Polynesian Islands will have an extra channel, as all Football Clubs Subscribed to the Féderátion Tahitienne de Football (FTF) will have direct access to achieve the prized tickets.
Fighting against exclusion
The Local Organizing Committee of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2013 has in mind a committed dedication in favour of the adapted sports movement. Together with the ticketing launch, the president of the LOC, Vairani Davio, and President of the Fédération Tahitienne de sports adaptés et handisports, Henriette Kamia, signed an agreement that will ensure 100 seats/places for people with reduced mobility.
Besides that, and always with the idea of fighting against exclusion, the LOC have offered the first 100 tickets to the disabled sports movement in the Island.
