SC Braga and Lenergy Pisa BS are Euro Winners Cup 2024 finalists

The Portuguese side defeat Recreativo de Huelva, as the Italian team advance on penalties

Semi-finals
SC Braga win 6-4 against Recreativo de Huelva.
The goalscoring opened as Pintado scored putting Braga in front within four minutes. 20 seconds later and Gerlan equalised for Huelva. Filipe Silva put Braga back in the driving seat with just over five minutes left to play in the first period. A double from Algarvio gave Braga a 4-1 lead going into the second period.

The second period and the Braga goalkeeper Pedro Mano struck a longshot into the back of the net to make it 5-1 with 39 seconds remaining of the period.

The final period of the game and Bokinha struck an early goal to make it 6-1 to Braga. Pedro pulled a goal back for Huelva to make it 6-2. Huelva halved the deficit with a minute and 30 seconds remaining through Brian as he struck in a close range free kick underneath the Braga goalkeeper. Cassano scored to make it 6-4 however it was too late for Huelva which sees Braga progress to the final of the Euro Winners Cup 2024.

Lenergy Pisa BS win 4-1 on penalties against ACD O Sótão, after a 3-3 draw in the match.
After a level first start to the period, the first goal came with four minutes to play in the first period, and it was Sótão who went 1-0 up through a close-range free kick from Jordan Santos. Less than one minute later and Sótão are 2-0 up courtesy of Duarte Vivo. The goal came from a corner which was flicked on, and Duarte was there to pounce on the ball and put it into the net.

The second period kicked off and within two minutes, Sótão were 3-0 up. Jordan made it his second of the game and gave Sótão a healthy lead. Very shortly after, Edson Hulk scored for Pisa to make it 3-1. 10 seconds later and it was 3-2, Pisa reduced the scoreline to just one goal as Marinai Ste scored.

The final period was underway and an equaliser and the comeback from Pisa as Datinha smashed the ball in to put the Italian side level with just under four minutes left to play. The third period ended with the scoreline level so extra time will be needed to try and decide the winner.

In extra-time neither side could score the winner so the game headed to penalties to decide who will play SC Braga in the final.

Penalties were taken and it was Lenergy Pisa BS who won 4-1, taking them to consecutive finals.
