The ‘carboneros’ keep reigning in the Uruguayan beach soccer, following a 8-5 win over La 20 at the Arenas del Plata stadium
Club Atlético Peñarol’s reign will remain untouched again this season. The ‘Aurinegros’ stayed perfect to claim the Torneo Promocional this last week, following a victory over La 20 in the final (8-5). The goals by Matías Cabrera (2), Fabricio Vallarino (2), Martín Díaz (2), Ricardo Martínez and Gonzalo Cazet secured the cup for the “carboneros”.
The way to the final equally as brilliant for the Montevideo giants, as they did not miss one single point during the whole tournament, held at the Arenas del Plata stadium.
After this first challenge of the season, Peñarol, and the rest of Uruguayan teams get ready now for the Uruguayan National Beach Soccer League, which kicks off next February 24th.
