The FPF Executive Director was awarded by the Portuguese Association of Sport Management (APOGESD)
Pedro Dias, Executive Director of the Federação Portuguesa de Futebol (FPF), has received the prestigious award of Sporting Manager of the Year, awarded by the Portuguese Association of Sport Management (Associação Portuguesa de Gestão do Desporto – APOGESD).
Dias, who has been an instrumental figure in the successes of the Portuguese Beach Soccer National Team over the last decade, but also in the development of beach soccer within the country.
This is demonstrated in the creation of one of the most solid national infrastructures in the world, and also covers the Futsal structure in the Portuguese Football Association.
In the last two years, Pedro Dias has seen his thorough work rewarded with a FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup and a FIFA Futsal World Cup, something not many professionals in the sporting universe can boast.
With Madjer joining his team as the head of beach soccer in Portugal, the discipline in the Lusitania country is undoubtably in the best hands, and this award goes to a well-deserving candidate!
