After the withdrawal of three teams and the incorporation of Vietnam and Malaysia, distribution of groups has been redrawn, in agreement with AFC and OCA
In accordance with the Asian Football Confederation and the Olympic Council of Asia, the participating teams in the IV Asian Beach Games have been distributed in the four groups with a new official draw, held this morning at the official hotel. After the withdrawn of Palestine, Lebanon and Afghanistan and the incorporation of Vietnam and Malaysia, Beach Soccer Worldwide, OCA and AFC have made the decision to redraw.
The final distribution of the teams, with the hosts, Thailand, drawn into Group A (A1), and Iran, China and Japan seeded in groups B, C and D according to their final standings in the last Asian Beach Games Haiyang 2012, goes as follows:
Group A: Thailand, Vietnam, Kuwait, Qatar
Group B: Iran, Oman and Syria
Group C: China, Bahrain, Uzbekistan
Group D: Japan, UAE and Malaysia
