The UAE national team travelled to Morocco to play two matches
We are happy to report that two national beach soccer teams were in action over the last two days.
The United Arab Emirates, currently ranked 12th in the world, travelled to Morocco where they played two matches against their The Atlas Lions, who are ranked 18th.
After having been out for so long, the teams got straight back into the swing of beach soccer, with two exciting and competitive matches being played, leaving each nation with a victory.
On Thursday (17 Dec) UAE took and initial lead but were pegged back to 2-2. However, the Emirati snatched victory with a late third goal.
In the second match, Morocco were clearly out for revenge and they defeated their UAE visitors by five goal to two.
The matches took place at the Morocco Football Association facilities in Rabat.
