Latest BSWW Rankings updates: NATIONAL TEAMS

The two Euro Beach Soccer League champions, Portugal (Men) and Russia (Women) are the new Movers of the Month

After a busy summer, the Beach Soccer Worldwide Rankings have been updated, with some very significant changes. The Rankings have been updated in both Clubs and National Teams, and men and women.

Portugal ended September with a new Euro Beach Soccer League in their hands, their eight title in the competition, and with another record: The Movers of the Month Recognition.

Also worth mentioning, the Slovakian National team, after getting back in competition at the EBSL Moldova 2021, earned enough points to climb 27(!) positions in the table. With a similar very similar experience, Sweden leapfrogged from the 71th to the 57th position.

In the Women’s competition, the Russia National team and Madrid CFF became the Movers of the Month. The Russian National Team claimed the first ever Women’s Euro Beach Soccer League, thus jumping onto the second position in the ranking, still dominated by Spain.

One of the teams making a more significant improvement was Netherlands, going from the 15th to the 11th position. Switzerland, in turn, won 3 places, going from 9th to 6th.
