Vargas, Venezuela is the home to this year’s games and with the draw finalised, the nations are all raring to start
The games are about to start and the anticipation has never been higher. The groups have been decided and eight of the most talented beach soccer teams will compete for the gold, silver, and bronze. Brazil has won the previous two editions of the Olympic style event, earning gold in the most exciting sport on sand, Beach Soccer. The host nations have always represented their country and the games very well and this year will be no different as Venezuela aims to be crowned the new South American beach soccer champion.
The beach soccer excitement begins on Tuesday, will end on Saturday, and will feature two groups of four teams playing in a group stage, followed by the knockout rounds until a king is crowned. Group A consists of Venezuela, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Colombia. Group B has Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Peru.
