The Occitans clinch back-to-back crowns as Grand Calais claim National glory in the Women’s competition
Grande-Motte Pyramide BS claimed back to back French National Championship this past weekend, after consistently beating Marseille Beach Team in the final (8-3) held at Saint-Jean-des-Monts (Pays de la Loire).
Despite the Occitaine saw Marseille get 2-1 ahead during the first break, a 5-0 run in the second period changed things completely. The Grande Motte Pyramide Beach Soccer, with French internationas such as Jérémy Basquaise, Victor Angeletti, Anthony Fayos ou Anthony Barbotti, and Morocco captain Nassil El Hadaoui, in their rancks, made sure their opponents could not react in the third period, claiming their third French crown (2016, 2018 and 2019).
In the women’s competition Grand Calais (Ligue des Hauts-de-France) claimed the title following a 8-2 win over d’ESOF Vendée La Roche (Ligue des Pays de la Loire).
