A 6-2 win over former champions Portsmouth BSC has new champion crowned in England
Corinthians Casuals Beach Soccer became the new English National Champions following their 6-2 win over Portsmouth BSC.
The champions treasured many England international in their ranks, including Aaron Clarke, named MVP and Top scorer of the competition, Mitch Day, Scott Lawson or James Temple.
In the match for the 3rd place, defending champions Eastleigh Spitfires FC bent Isle of Wight in the penalty kick shootout to grasp the bronze.
The goals from Rodriguez and Villaverde, plus Cox’s bicycle kick hit in extra time sent the games to the shootout, where goalkeeper Mowthorpe was in hand for the team to secure win with two saves.
The remaining individual awards went to Daniel Hulme (Best Goalkeeper) and Charlie Millward (Best Young Player)
