A home-and-home series for the French against England began with a high-scoring French victory (7-5). Second match to be played today 4pm
Les Bleus scheduled two matches against one of their European rivals and they not only played a very competitive match against a notably deep English team, but they also won. The first of the two matches ended with a score of 7-5, France. The second match will be played today at the Expos Park in Rennes, France.
The European Beach Soccer League season will begin soon and the two European rivals are strategically preparing for it. France is in Division A of the EBSL and hope to continue their stupendous play from the end of last year as they swept through the Promotion Final. The Three Lions are in Division B but after a Division B group stage victory last season and a streak of undefeated matches, they will try and string together even more victories this year.
The first of the two friendlies is just a sample of the excitement and thrills that the EBSL has to offer this year. This match alone saw 4 players score multiple goals, including a hat trick from François of France and two from Morris of England. The longtime rivals will provide another rousing match today and you can rest assured that the English will do all they can to avenge the preseason loss.
