France, Comoros, Belarus and Moldova play beach soccer friendlies

More European nations return to competitive preparation as the beach soccer season approaches

Three of Europe’s beach soccer squads were in action in recent weeks to give themselves the best possible start in the 2022 campaign.

Moldova and Belarus travelled to Turkey as the Division B side, after coming so close to reaching the Promotion Final in 2021, test their skills against last season’s Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinalists.

On Saturday 26 March, Belarus kicked off the first game in Turkey with a 4-1 win, but the next day Moldova were much closer to the Division A side, losing just 3-2.

This result, against one of the world’s top beach soccer squads, clearly demonstrates the intention of Ruslan’s men to battle for one of the EBSL promotion places in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Les Bleus of France followed up their trip to Spain to play against La Roja by hosting Comoros in Vesseaux, in southern France.

Claude Barabe’s side defeated the visitors 7-3 and 4-2 on the 3 and 4 April.
