The women’s group stage came to a close on the third day of action in the Americas Winners Cup 2025

Group B
San Salvador BSC win 7-6 against Las Costeñas
Las Costeñas struck first through Melanie in the second minute of the opening period. San Salvador BSC responded emphatically, turning the tide with four goals. Braces from Marvilla and Calderon powered them into a commanding 4–1 lead.

The second period saw Las Costeñas try to claw back into the contest with goals from Korda and Meidi. Yet, San Salvador restored control as Hernandez added her name to the scoresheet and Calderon completed her hat-trick to maintain a 6–3 advantage.

The final period produced a dramatic twist. Melanie, Korda and Adriana ignited a spirited comeback to level the match at 6–6. But with time running out, Díaz delivered the decisive blow, securing a thrilling 7–6 victory for San Salvador BSC.

Group C
Ceilândia FC win 5-3 against FP Riviera Maya

The first period saw Ceilândia score three goals, giving them a 3-0 lead. Isabelle and Aline’s brace ensured the 3-0 lead.  Riviera Maya is still trying to find composure in the game.

Luana’s brilliant strike made it 4-0 for Ceilândia. Zavala’s late-period goal kept Riviera Maya in the game, and the scores at 4-1 heading into the final period. 

Cruz and Ramos’s second brought Riviera Maya into the game, but the comeback attempt was cut short by Aline’s goal midway through the game to seal the 5-3 win for Ceilândia.

Group D
Nassau BSC win 3-2 against Dimas Escazú FP
Nassau BSC started brightly, scoring twice in the opening period, and conceded an own-goal forced under pressure. They held on to a 2–1 advantage into the first break. 

Dimas Escazú remained competitive in the second period, which produced no goals. Both sides showed intense play, yet were unable to convert key chances as the tension grew heading into the final phase.

Early in the third period, Kerry struck to level at 2–2, setting up a dramatic closing stretch. But four minutes from time, Knowles unleashed a powerful effort to restore Nassau’s lead and secure a narrow but hard-earned 3–2 victory.


Group E
San Marcelino FC win 8-1 against Municipal Poás 

San Marcelino burst into action with a dominant opening period, powered by a Ramos hat-trick and a composed strike from Keyri, establishing a commanding 4–0 lead.

Municipal Poás continued to struggle in the second period, while San Marcelino added two more goals through Tamacas and another from the unstoppable Ramos. A defensive miscue resulted in an own-goal that put Municipal Poás on the board, closing the period at 6–1.

The final period saw no slowdown from San Marcelino. Ramos netted her fifth of the match, and Tamacas completed her brace to wrap up an emphatic 8–1 victory and a statement performance at the close of the group stage.

Group F
Vasco de Gama win 6-1 against Garita Palmera BS
Vasco da Gama asserted control from the outset, scoring four unanswered goals through Nati, Tasinazzo, Jéssica and Lorena before Palacios finally responded for Garita Palmera to close the opening period 4-1.

Lorena struck again early in the second period to extend Vasco’s advantage to 5–1, while Garita Palmera continued to struggle in front of the goal despite improved possession.

Just a minute into the third period, Manau added a sixth for Vasco da Gama, sealing a confident 6–1 victory and a strong finish to their group-stage campaign.
