Day 5 of the Women’s tournament produced top-quality performances as the quarter-finals unfolded. Cali BSC, São Pedro, Vasco da Gama and Barra de Santiago booked their semi-final spots…

Quarter Finals
CALI BSC win 8-3 against CRUZN
Cali BSC wasted no time asserting dominance in the first period, with Meza opening the scoring before the break to hand them a 1-0 lead. Cruzn struggled to find rhythm as Cali’s defense shut down any threat.

The second period turned into a rout as Adler, Elouath, Garzon, and another from Meza surged Cali to a commanding four-goal advantage. Cruzn remained under pressure, but managed a response via Garzon.

In the final period, Hall struck twice, an own goal by Cruzn added to the tally, and Vásquez also found the net. Despite Belkiri and Sabrina grabbing consolations for Cruzn. Cali BSC sealed an emphatic 8-3 victory to take the first semi-final spot.

São Pedro win 8-2 against  San Salvador BSC
São Pedro stormed into the lead in the first period with Phillips and Ramos exchanging goals, before Sil’s strike gave São Pedro a 2-1 advantage at the break.

The second period saw São Pedro pull away decisively, with Luana and Jessica extending their lead to 4-1, showcasing their attacking prowess as San Salvador BSC struggled to respond.

In the third period, São Pedro unleashed a barrage, with Sil, Ester, Cacau, and Phillips again netting to reach eight goals. Tamacas grabbed a late consolation for San Salvador BSC, but São Pedro sealed an emphatic 8-2 victory.

Vasco da Gama win 4-1 against BS-UES
Vasco da Gama netted two goals in the first period, with Mayara’s opener followed by Manau’s strike giving them a commanding 2-0 lead at the break.

The second period saw Jéssica extend the advantage to 3-0 as Vasco maintained total control, while BS-UES struggled to respond.

Manau added her second in the third to make it 4-0, and though Giulia grabbed a consolation for BS-UES in the last minute, Vasco da Gama sealed a dominant 4-1 victory.

Barra de Santiago FP win 5-4 against Ceilândia EC
In the opening period, Barra de Santiago FP took the lead through an own goal from Ceilândia, before Cordero doubled the advantage. Aline replied for Ceilândia, but Cordero struck again to extend the lead to 3-1. Tálita’s late effort reduced the deficit, putting the score at 3-2 heading into the first break.

The second period remained tight as Tálita levelled for Ceilândia, but Cordero’s last-gasp strike restored Barra’s advantage at 4-3.

Cordero completed her fourth early in the third period to make it 5-3, and although Isabelle pulled one back for Ceilândia, Barra held firm to secure a hard-fought 5-4 victory and a place in the semi-finals.
