A meeting was held this week between RFS and FIFA, with Beach Soccer World Wide being also present
The FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2021 is already in full preparation. The meeting held last Monday at the Russia Football Union headquarters between representatives from the hosting association, the Russian Football Union (RFS) and FIFA, with the presence of Beach Soccer World Wide, kicked off the first actions to be taken in these coming weeks.
Alexander Alaev, Secretary General of the RFS, together with his team and Jaime Yarza, FIFA Director of Tournaments and Kasra Haghighi, FIFA Futsal and Beach Soccer Manager and leader for FBSWC 2021, were present at the meeting. BSWW, with President and Vice-president Joan Cuscó and Gabino Renales ahead, were also present at the meeting, after the successful organisation of the Mundiclito de Clubes in Moscow and following the expertise in the sport and the tight relationship always maintained with the RFS.
In the meeting, all parts agreed in that Moscow has everything it takes to bring a memorable FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. The strength of the sport in the country, the excellent organizational capabilities the RFU (also host of the last FIFA World Cup) and the will to make this next beach soccer world cup the best ever make up for a perfect combination.
