Group A
Triumph once again for AO Keffalinia
AO Keffalinia defeat CF Chelas 3-1.

Tsergas scored the only goal of the first period for the Greek side giving them a 0-1 lead. The second period and Kefallinia doubled their lead through Letso.

João Diogo pulled a goal back for Chelas in the final period but 20 seconds before the end Karakasis put the game to bed to give the Greek team all three points.

Perfect group stage for GD Sesimbra
GD Sesimbra win 6-2 against Naxos BS.

Sesimbra took a three-goal lead in the first period with goals from: Diogo Bernardo, Mantorras and Canana. The Italian side Naxos pulled a goal back with Garofalo getting on the scoresheet, but Kiko scored for Sesimbra to put them 1-4 up going into the second period.

DiStefano halved the deficit for Naxos, giving them some confidence to come back into the game. It was B who put the game out of reach as Sesimbra went 2-5 up.

The final period and B sealed his brace as the Portuguese team won the game 2-6.

Group B
Four points on the board for GD Alfarim
GD Alfarim win 5-4 on penalties against ACD O Sótão, after a 3-3 draw in the match.

The first period only saw one goal and that went the way of Alfarim and Mendes was the goal scorer to lead 0-1.
Francisico equalised for Sótao B before Mendes retook the lead for Alfarim. Duarte and Daniel put Sótão B ahead in the game. Sótão B took a 3-2 lead into the final period.

With five minutes left of play, Dias of Alfarim equalised sending the game into overtime. The tie did not get resolved in overtime so the game went all the way to penalties.

Alfarim won 4-5 on penalties giving them a point from the game.

GD União Ericeirense remain undefeated
GD União Ericeirense defeat Armia Tbilisi 7-3.

GDUE took the lead in the first period through a goal from Aguiar. Sonaldo and Rafiti scored two quick goals to give GDUE a 3-0 lead. Guilherme made it four with six minutes left of play. Tbilisi pulled a goal back through Kokhreidze.

The second period saw three more goals for GDUE as Guilherme grabbed his brace to put them 5-1 up. Two quick goals from Merendas sealed the game.

Tbilisi pulled two goals back in the third period through Berechikidze and Bekauri but it wasn’t enough to bring them back into the game.

Group C
Three points for RFC Perwez
RFC Perwez BS win 5-3 against CR Pinheiros.

The second period started with an early goal for Perwez through Lambert to make it 0-1. Carlos Dinis equalised for Pinheiros. Gonstas scored to put Perwez back into the lead however Felipe Malheiro scored directly from kick off to level the game once again. It was that man Gonstas again to put Perwez into the lead right before the end of the second period.


Gonstas scored his hat trick to put Perwez 2-4 ahead. A Felipe Malheiro double brought Pinheiros back into the game, but Van Engel sealed the game with a goal for Perwez to make it 3-5.

Leixões SC top Group C
Leixões SC triumph 11-3 over Casa Benfica Viseu.

Three goals for Leixões coming from Rúben, Rudy and Pedrinho to make it 0-3. Sagas hit back with five minutes to go. Rúben and Telmo scored right before the whistle blew. They took at 1-5 lead into the second period.


The second period saw more goals as the scoring started off with another goal for Sagas and Casa Benfica. A brace from Matheus, Telmo, Miguel Junior and Trivelas gave Leixóes a 2-10 lead.

The scoring slowed down in the final period as Matheus sealed the hat trick and Pereira scored for Casa Benfica.

Group D
Second victory for Porto Mendo
Porto Mendo defeat SM Jalles 8-7.

Porto Mendo opened the scoring by Miguel only to be pushed back by Leblanc and Daracq for SM Jalles.
SM Jalles made it 1-3 with a goal by Gorza to give them a healthy lead early on. Porto Mendo gave themselves a lifelife through Rui O before Mathieu restored SM Jalles two goal lead.

Second period saw two goals to equalise for Porto Mendo through Miguel and Rui O. This made the score 4-4.
Caçula made it 5-4 to Porto Mendo. The game saw another equaliser and this time for SM Jalles through Pauvers.

SM Jalles retook the lead through an early third period goal by Bizot followed by a seventh through Mathieu. Caçula scored a brace to give Porto Mendo a lifeline late on in the game. The lifeline was taken as Caçula completed the hat trick to take the game into overtime. Porto Mendo come out victorious after a hat trick by Rui O to come back and win 8-7 in extra-time.

Three points for São Domingos
São Domingos win 2-1 against FC Genappe.

The first period took six minutes to have the first goal of the game and Genappe were the team who scored it, the goal came from Be Saraiva. Two minutes later Sāo Domingos equalised with a lovely goal from Montes.

A complete stalemate within the second period, no side managed to take the lead until the third period where Serginho scored the winning goal with 59 seconds left on the clock for the Portuguese team.

Group E
First victory for AD Pastéis
AD Pastéis defeat Cevennes 6-5.

The first period started off very well for Cevennes as Delamontagne opened the scoring before two quick goals from Laurent and Lapouge scored the second and third goal for the French side. Pastéis scored a goal back with less than one minute left on the clock with Andrezinho to go into the second period 1-3 down.

Alex brought a goal back for Pastéis to bring the score to 2-3. It was Delamontagne who restored Cevennes’ two goal lead with four minutes to go in the second period.

Two quick goals from Cosmeli in the final period of the game took the game to overtime as it was level at 4-4.

Andrezinho scored the opening goal in overtime with two minutes left on the clock. Lelievre equalised for Cevennes who thought it was enough to send the game into a penalty shootout but it was Figueiredo with 34 seconds left on the clock who scored the winning goal to take two points from the game.

Vila Flor SC secure maximum points
Vila Flor SC beat Portsmouth 5-4.

The first period saw a quick start for Vila Flor who had a couple of chances and took one with Andre to make it 0-1. With three minutes remaining of the first period it was Black Jr who stepped up to equalise for the English side going into the second period.

Portsmouth took the lead early on with a goal from O’Rourke but were pushed back with three goals from Daniel, Cabral and Luan.
Portsmouth needed a goal in the third period to give them some hope and once again it was O’Rourke who stepped up to score his brace. Portsmouth equalised with a goal from player/coach Black however straight from kick off Vila Flor equalised via Toni. The Portuguese side managed to hold onto the lead to win 4-5.

Following the group stage, group winners GD Sesimbra, GD União Ericeirense, Leixões SC, FC Genappe and Vila Flor SC, alongside the best second placed team AO Keffalinia, have all booked their places in the quarter-finals. The two remaining quarter-final places are set to be filled as Porto Mendo are set to face Casa Benfica Viseu, as GD Alfarim take on Cevennes.
