Beach soccer experts from different countries will take place in the sessions, beginning on 10th August
The Ecuador Football Association (Federación Ecuatoriana de Fútbol) have taken a step forward in the promotion and development of beach soccer, by creating a series of webinars to strengthen their beach soccer development.
Under the title of ‘Plan de Capacitación de Futbol Playa’ (Beach Soccer Formation Plan) this series of webinars will be directed by important international beach soccer experts, such as FIFA Instructors Ramiro Amarelle and Hector Petrasso, FIFA referees Javier Marcillo and Fabricio Quintero, as well as national team coaches such as Miguel Ángel Aguirre (Uruguay), Luiz Escobar (Bahamas), Wilmer García (Venezuela) and Renso Modera (former Colombia national coach), alongside J. Francisco Palma Zambrano (Ecuador).
Other experts such as Katia Díaz (Atlántico Beach Soccer commissioner), Víctor Ferrín (Ecuador national team doctor) and Ernesto Quiñónez (Sports Medicine expert) will also lead some of the webinars.
For three weeks from 10 and 31 of August, every Monday and Friday at 7pm (Ecuador time), the Ecuadoran FA will host one of the seminars, dealing with topics such as tactics and formations, technical training, the evolution of the beach soccer player as an athlete, beach soccer growth and development, refereeing experiences and learnings, medical and injury prevention issues in returning to training after Covid-19 pandemic, amongst others.
