Elias Coelho Filho has sadly passed away
It is with great sadness that the world of beach soccer says farewell to Elias Coelho Filho.
The Brazilian referee has passed away this Sunday after having suffered a stroke last Thursday.
Elias Coelho da Silva Filho was the son of Elias Coelho, one of the first beach soccer referees, from whom he inherited the love for the sport.
A FIFA International referee, Elias Coelho Filho whistled in some of the biggest beach soccer events in the world.
Our most heartfelt condolences go to the family and friends of Elias Coelho Filho on this sad day for the whole beach soccer family.
