A draw held by CAF on Friday sorted the nations into pairings
The qualifying match schedule for the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Mozambique 2022 was revealed today during the draw held in Maputo.
The fourteen nations will lock horns to determine the best seven which will be joining hosts Mozambique in the main stage.
The qualifying campaign is organised into two legs, one home and one away match, to be played on the following dates:
First Leg: 22 – 24 July
Second Leg: 5 – 7 August
Titleholders Senegal will face Cameroon with the first leg taking place in Indomitable Lions den before a return leg in the den of the Teranga Lions.
After missing the last edition, Nigeria will be eager to make their comeback in the continental showdown, but they will first need to down Libya.
Morocco, another great nation of beach soccer in Africa and third from the last AFCON, will see their fate decided with a double header with Côte d’Ivoire.
