Beautiful gesture by Grembach Łódź showing Ewa Michalak she is not alone in her battle against cancer
Beach soccer is made of spectacular goals, but the one scored last weekend by Polish side BSC Lady Grembach Łódź was special.
The team from Łódź won the Polish Cup and donated the prize money to their former player Ewa Michalak, to help her in the battle she is currently fighting against cancer.
The Polish international now plays for UMKS Saller Zgierz and was dedicated the win by her former club in what was a touching moment:
On their social media BSC Lady Grembach Łódź wrote: “There are things more important than fighting and winning on the pitch. Our friend, once a Lady Grembach player, now a Sally Zgierz is fighting her life battle with cancer. She needs support in these difficult times, which is why we give the entire prize for winning the Polish Cup, PLN 6,000 to Ewa Michalak with the hope that she will overcome this insidious cancer disease. Kisses for you Ewa”
We wish Ewa all the best and that she is well again very soon.
