A dramatic comeback in the final saw Roses A defeat hosts CFP Torredembarra
The first edition of the Llorenç Beach Soccer Cup has a winner!
Roses Platja A claimed the title of the competition on Sunday afternoon, beating CFP Torredembarra 4-2 in the final.
The club from the north of Catalunya becomes the first-ever champion of the competition.
The game was marked by the great comeback by Roses in the final third. Torredembarra opened the scoring in the first period, but a comeback from Dani Haro’s side saw them end the day lifting the cup.
The third position went to Escuela RA10, who won 10-2 against Roses Platja B, who secured fourth place. Fifth place went to CFPT Tarragona and the sixth place to Torre Futsal.
As for the individual awards, the MVP was Biel Rius (CFP Torredembarra), the award for Top Scorer went home with Marc Font (CFP Torredembarra), and the Best Goalkeeper was Brais González (Escuela RA10).
