Dubai will host the preseason camp from the 13th-17th of January as the three countries will also compete in several friendlies
The beach soccer season is just beginning and with an eye towards the Baku 2015 European Games and the Upcoming AFC Qualifier for the World Cup, Azerbaijan, Hungary and UAE are getting extra work done in Dubai. In addition to the training sessions, there will be competitive exhibition matches between these National sides, as well as the top club in the UAE, Al-Ahli FC. The Azerbaijani and Hungarians welcome the challenge as they both have a full slate of events to prepare for in 2015, at the time the Emirati need a thorough preparation for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2015 – AFC Qualifiers coming on in just two months.
A full season is on the horizon for Azerbaijan and the Golden Team and making things even more interesting is Baku. Hungary fought and qualified for the inaugural European Games in the 2014 Euro Beach Soccer League. The top six teams in the final standings in Division A along with the top side in Division B, Hungary, and the hosts, Azerbaijan, will all be competing in Baku. UAE, in turn, will have their all-or-nothing challenge in Doha, where they will fight for one of the three slots for the World Cup at stake for the Asian Qualifiers.
The UAE has become an important pin on the beach soccer map, not only with their competitive National Team and National League, but also with their hosting events like the Samsung Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup and camps such as this. The friendly matches will begin on Tuesday the 13th with Azerbaijan taking on Al-Ahli. On Thursday, Hungary will jump in the mix and face Azerbaijan. A rematch will take place on Saturday the 17th. The following day, the hosts will face Azerbaijan and the final day, Tuesday January, 20th will be Azerbaijan vs. Al-Ahli.
