The Ottoman National team got into the European Beach Soccer League Promotional Final, thanks to their better goal difference after their two-leg clash against Norway. The matches, corresponding to the European Beach Soccer League, took place last Friday and Saturday in Bibione (Italy), where both teams had also been involved in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifier. The Turkish hit first on the Italian sand, with a 7-4 win to the Nordic. The price for the points was high, though, since the Turkish saw how their captain, Adil, was seriously injured at the beginning of the third quarter, and he is expected to be, at least, one month out.
Norwegians stroke back the following day. But not powerfully enough, since their victory gave them only one goal rent (5-4). So, the Ottoman will get the chance to attempt climbing to Division A in next’s month appointment in Portugal, where the EBSL Superfinal and Promotional Final are going to take place. It is not going to be easy, though, since they will have to fight competitive squads such as Azerbaijan, Israel, Hungary, Czech Republic, as the best second of all EBSL Division B stages, and France, eighth in Division A and forced to struggle to avoid relegation.
