have been played this year in the 30 international competitions organized or sanctioned by BSWW. This number does not include the 80 friendly games held during the season.

were scored during these competitions. The number of players who got their name in the scorer’s list in all these competitions would be something almost impossible to count, but we do know who were the top scorers of the year: Llorenç (ESP), with 48 goals in international competitions is the men’s top scorer, whereas Melissa Gomez (FRA), with 14, is the women’s top scorer, followed by Molly Clark (ENG), with 13. (Again, the goals in the friendly games have not been tallied).
187 teams
have been involved in beach soccer international competitions (not considering friendly games). Out of those, 76 were national teams, and 111 were clubs.

have hosted official international beach soccer events during this year.
1.6 million viewers
The new format of online broadcasting brought a growth in the viewers. Although the number of matches broadcasted this year was slightly lower, the number of viewers has increased significantly (35%).
