BSWW mourn the passing of Mahmood M. Sharif, part of the Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup Dubai LOC, who could not beat Covid-19
Beach Soccer Worldwide wants to offer their condolences to the family and friends of Mahmood Mohammad Sharif Aghavani, who left us last week after not being able to overcome Covid-19 infection.
Mahmood, only 35 years old, had been a part of the Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup Dubai family for years, acting as Team Liaison Officer. He embodied the spirit, passion and the important role volunteers play in big sporting events.
When the time of the Intercontinental Cup arrived, Mahmood would ask for holidays permission of his job as Immigration agent for the UAE Government to join the event Local Organizing Committee, which he had been a part of for the last 7 years.
Thank you for everything, Mahmood. Rest in peace. You will always be remembered.
