Hosts Hungary bend Spain in the second matchday of the competition to leave everything open
Everything is still up for grabs at the Talent Beach Soccer Cup, taking place in Siófok this weekend, after the hosts and defending champions Hungary beat Spain in the second matchday of the competition.
Later, Poland secured three more points in this year’s Talent Cup, following a 4-2 win over France thanks to a brace by Bartosz Szloser and hits from Klopec and Bistula. The last game of the day would see the Magyar making up for yesterday’s defeat.
The subsequent top scorer of the competition, Donat Deak, swept Hungary ahead in the first period, with Richard Patocs adding to that advantage to make it 2-0 by the end of the second period.
Spain could only find the Magyar nets with less than one minute to go, but, just they dared to hope again, Bartocs sealed the win with his second goal of the evening.
