The competition began on the 12th of January at Maputo’s Praia Costa do Sol, with 12 teams involved
The 6th edition of the Mozambique National Beach Soccer Championship, the Copa 2M Futbeol de Praia, kicked-off last Saturday 12th of January in the Praia Costa do Sol, in the country’s capital city, Maputo.
12 teams, including defending champions Tau-Tau FC, BFC Manhotas, Six Strings, Imede, Pescas FC, Craques de Praia, Mafalala, Vulvano FC, C. Amigos da Praia, Recreativo Polana Caniço, Team Loyan and BSK, take part in the competition.
The Copa 2M, Mozambique’s National Beach Soccer Championship has been taking place in Maputo since 2013, showing the great passion for beach soccer in this African resort.
