The Azteca leave May as the champions of CONCACAF and the team with a better improvement in the rankings
This past May has been a great month for Mexico. The Tri have not only sealed the CONCACAF crown after the CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championships in Puerto Vallarta, but have also became the Movers of the Month.
With an amazing jump from the 22nd to the 14th place, the Mexicans have lead the most significant improvement in the rankings, in terms of final position.
Other teams from the region, such as Trinidad & Tobago, with a 22-positions improvement, El Salvador, who have leapfrogged from the 36th to the 26th position, or USA National team, back in the Top-20, have lead very relevant climbings, too. In absolute terms, Guatemala, with 27 positions gained, would be the team leading a highest jump.
Iran or Tahiti, on the other hand, are the teams dropping more positions within the Top-10 of the Beach Soccer Overall Ranking, with Poland, Nigeria or Morocco, amongst others, losing man positions, too.
