Praia de Buarcos in Figueira da Foz, Portugal, hosts the international youth tournament, this year with the first Women’s trophy in dispute
Madjer Cup returns for its fourth edition on the sands of Figueira da Foz, one of the cradles of beach soccer, between Friday 15th July and Sunday 17th July.
Teams from Portugal, Italy, England, Germany and Spain will compete in U16 and U18 categories. Titleholders Lazio Beach Soccer will be once again playing in the U18 tournament, while Portuguese side ACD “O Sótão” will try to defend the U16 trophy that they conquered last year.
U16 Tournament
Group A: ACD “O Sótão” (POR), Naval 1893 (POR), Isle of Wight (ENG), GD Ilha (POR)
Group B: AD Buarcos (POR), AR Amarelle (ESP), GD Chaves (POR), GD Alfarim (POR)
U18 Tournament
Group C: Lazio BS (ITA), EF Hugo Almeida ADB (POR), GD Alfarim (POR)
Group D: AD Buarcos (POR), Isle of Wight (ENG), GD Ilha (POR)
Group E: Rostocker Robben (GER), ACD “O Sótão” (POR), CD Praia Leirosa (POR)
Group F: GD Chaves (POR), Naval 1893 (POR), Sesimbra BS (POR)
This year for the first time in the history of the competition a Women’s Trophy will also be disputed between ACD “O Sótão” (POR) and Sandgames Figueira (POR).
