The leader in Group A did not give up their position, and confirmed their ticket with a new consistent win, leaving BSC Delta out of the race with an incontestable 2-6 for a perfect 9-points-out-of-9 record.
Russia U23 finally squeezed in, thanks to a tight 2-3 victory over Turkey that got them the six points they needed.
In Group B, Krylia Sovetov got back to the winning mode, and bent the Belarus National Team to shake group B’s standings. The final goal-average got the Belarussian out of the competition in favour of BSC City, who ended in a high note after narrowly edging CSKA Moscow.
