The Salvadorian star suffered a multiple ligament fracture and will need surgery and a long and delicate recovery
Weekend brought some really bad news for the Salvadorian Beach Soccer. Their best player, Frank Velasquez, suffered a serious injury in a friendly match that will leave him outside the pitch for a period between six or seven months. The talented forward broke his meniscus, alongside with his Anterior cruciate and Medial collateral ligaments, suffering then one of the most feared injuries by footballers.
Now, the first priority for the last FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Bronze Ball and Bronze scorer is to undergo surgery as soon as possible so to begin a quick and efficient recovery to get fit as soon as possible. In his mind, the Cuscatleco player has only one thing: helping his team in the 2012 tournaments, one of them being the CONCACAF Qualifiers for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2013.
Beach Soccer Worldwide wants to send him all our support and wish him a fast recovery.
