A training Seminar was held by the Italian FA (FIGC-LND), as the French FA (FFF) organized a referee meeting last weekend
To foster the growth of beach soccer, it is equally important to work on and off the pitch, and this is something the national football associations know. Formation is a key part of the program when it comes to helping the sport gain an even wider professional status.
Under this premises, the FIGC-LND (Italian Football Association) hosted a coaching seminar in Terracina, taking advantage of the Seria A League stage taking place there last weekend. More than 20 coaches took part in the meeting, conducted by the Italian National Coach, Massimiliano Esposito and Paolo La Rocca, and the physical trainer from the Terracina Beach Soccer, together with the head of Beach Soccer in the FIGC-LND, Santino Lo Presti, and Ferdinando Arcopinto (Beach Soccer Department in FIG-LND).
In turn, the French Football Association held a referee seminar, led by FIFA Referee Instructor Lakdar Benchabane, ahead of the beginning of the French National Championship finals. Thirteen referees took part in the meeting, which mainly dealt with issues such as preparation, laws of the game and refereeing technical issues. The President of the Futsal and Beach Soccer Department in the FFF, Jean-Louis Rideau, and one of its members, Alain Augu, directed the meeting.
