Three courses were held in Comoros, Iran and Madagascar, aiming to teach basic beach soccer coaching principles
Between 5th and 12th of December, FIFA Instructor Angelo Schirinzi held a FIFA Development course in the African island of Comoros. The course targeted the teaching of basic coaching principles, as well as helping the National Football Association draw a long-term plan for the development of beach soccer in the region.
Besides that, FIFA Development also had a course running in neighbour Madagascar, home to defending African champions, aiming to develop technical and tactical coaching principles to coaches across the 22 regions in the country. FIFA instructor Claude Barrabé led the course, also teaching the participants planning techniques for training sessions and beach soccer courses.
Early in December, Iran was home to another FIFA Development course, led by FIFA Instructor and Japan National Coach Marcelo Mendes. 25 coaches and players of the Iranian Premier League took part in the course, focused on the development of technical and tactical knowledge of the coaches and the improvement of the quality of training at all levels of the game in the country.
