FC Barcelona claims the McDonald’s NASSC 2015

The Azulgrana bend Hampton Roads SC Elite in the final at Virginia Beach Oceanfront

FC Barcelona lead a prefect run in past weekend’s McDonald’s 22nd North American Sand Soccer Championships, and baged the Cup in the final against Hampton Roads Soccer Council Elite.

The azulgrana delighted the fans at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, with excellent beach soccer display by their international stars. Players such as Ramiro Amarelle, swissman Noel Ott, Spanish internationals Dani Pajón and Antonio Mayor, or top-class goalkeepers such as Salvadoran Eliodoro Portillo and Mexican Estrada, amongst others, were on hand to treat the fans with the best action. 

Recently affiliated with Beach Soccer Worldwide, the annual event has been raising awareness for the promotion of wellness and teamwork for 22 years now. The event, which stretches over 25 city blocks, serves as a breeding ground for the USA National Selection future prospects and additionally it brings together top-class talent from professional teams and clubs within America as well as abroad. This year there were over 1,000 youth and adults, boys and girls, teams comprised of over 10,000 players, all competing in the three-day extravaganza.
