Euro Beach Soccer League to be played in Alghero

The competition returns to Sardegna in September

The Euro Beach Soccer League will once again be played on Italian soil, as it was last season. Between the 19th and 24th September, the Division A and B as well as the women’s tournament will take the best teams in the European continent to the Sardinian city of Alghero.

The Spiaggia del Lido di Alghero will be the stage where teams will play for continental glory, with the competition format of all three tournaments to be announced soon.

Joan Cuscó, President of Beach Soccer Worldwide, stated: “Following the success of last year, we are absolutely delighted to be returning to Sardegna, this time in the stunning city of Alghero, for the most iconic European national teams competition. We extend our gratitude to FIGC CR Sardegna for hosting us once again, and we are confident that this will be a truly memorable event.

In 2022, in Cagliari, Switzerland took the men’s title beating Portugal in the final six goals to five, while Spain won 2-0 against Italy to lift the women’s trophy. In Chisinau, hosts Moldova were crowned Division B winners defeating Türkiye 5-3.
