Beach Soccer goes online with Crocs

First Crocs e-game is dedicated to the Euro Beach Soccer Season 2011, and will be running until September

This week Crocs will launch its first European e-game. Crocs is for the third consecutive season the official sponsor of the successful Euro Beach Soccer League within the European territory. ‘Beach Soccer seemed like the perfect topic to dedicate our first e-game’, referred Giuseppe Faranna, Marketing Director, Crocs Europe. ‘Crocs is entering a new phase. Digital marketing will become more and more important to strengthen and reposition our brand. We are consistently experimenting and looking for new technologies to engage our consumers with our brand.

 

The Crocs Beach Soccer e-game will run during the whole Beach Soccer tournament, beginning in Switzerland in the end of this month and finishing in Moscow next August. For five months Crocs e-game is accessible via http://beachsoccer.crocs.eu,  www.beachsoccer.com, Crocs EU Facebook page www.facebook.com/CrocsEU and the Official Beach Soccer Facebook Fan page, www.facebook.com/BeachSoccerWorldwide.

 

The purpose of the game is to make the beach soccer experience available to everyone, even to those who don’t get to go to the stadium. Each user needs to shoot 6 times (3 bottom, three top) and in the second level there is a wind factor that makes it more difficult but also much more exciting as the points are increased too.

 

The prizes are promising with the winner of each month (total 5 months) being awarded a pair of Crocs. In the end, the top ten of each month (50 overall) will enter a raffle and win one of the iPad 2, iPod touch and iPod nano available.
