Bahamas is the next destination for a new FIFA Beach Soccer Seminar. The interest raised in the Caribbean area, and the undeniable statement that Beach Soccer is getting more powerful, more professionalized and arouses more and more expectancy all over the world has led FIFA to boast this Symposium in such a perfect environment for the practice of this sport. Up to nine Football Associations are taking part in the meeting, scheduled for October 14th-17th in Nassau, at the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort.
Representatives from Bahamas, the USA, Canada, Jamaica, the Netherlands Antilles, Guyana, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Anguilla and Turks & Caicos will complete this 4 days course in which every issue regarding the Beach Soccer universe will be dealt with. Ross Orango, FIFA instructor, and Josep Ponset, Beach Soccer Worldwide Head of Competition, will drive the symposium, including aspects such as the laws of the game, the sport infrastructure, how to organize an event, different tournament structures, technical and tactical guidelines, etc.
The seminar aims at developing the sport in the Caribbean zone, as well as getting all the participants to know the necessary tools to supply a satisfactory growth of Beach Soccer in their respective countries.
Besides the representation from every FA involved, the symposium will count on the presence of Anton Sealey, FIFA Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee Board Member and president of Bahamas Football Association.
