No Orange chance in Tahiti

The Tiki Toa beat the Dutch in the last of the matches, sealing a six-win run in this first months of 2013

Tahiti prevailed once again over the Netherlands in the last of the three friendly matches played between both sides on Polynesian soil. More clearly than ever, the Tiki Toa run past the Orange in a game yet seriously unbalanced in the first period, in which the team commanded by Zaveroni and Schirinzi built a solid 3-0 advantage.

Despite Leo Koswal pulled one back for Kokmeijer?s side, the game was fully under Tahitian control, and Naea Bennett and Angelo Tchen hit back to have things 5-1 at the end of the second leg.

Six more goals were to be witnessed at the Jardins de Paofai during the remaining twelve minutes. Naea Bennet, with two more hits to round his hat-trick was the main nightmare for the European, and he himself widened the distance to 9-2, after Jeffrey Klijbroek had cropped it down. Ax?s last effort was worth the 9-3 for the Netherlands, but, at that point, it was not able to start any reaction for his side. The final whistle confirmed the six-win run for the Tahitians, who will get to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup they are hosting in an amusing shape.
