France finish top of Group B, while Ukraine finished second in Group A at the Euro Beach Soccer League Andalucía 2025 – Division A
Group A
Germany win 6-3 against Georgia.
Germany finished their campaign on a high note with a strong comeback win over Georgia. The match opened with Georgia scoring just seconds into the game as Jalagania fired in straight from kickoff. But Germany responded quickly through their captain’s acrobatic finish in the second minute to level the game at 1–1. Moments later, goalkeeper Knüppel delivered a long-range strike to edge Germany in front 2–1 by the end of the first period.
In the second period, Georgia fought back, with Partenadze converting a low spot kick to make it 2–2. With four minutes left in the period, Makharadze added another to restore Georgia’s lead. However, Germany’s Schulte equalised in the final seconds of the period, leaving the sides tied at 3–3 heading into the final period.
Germany stepped up in the decisive third period, with Skeip producing a fantastic finish to put his team back in front. Then came goals from Olli and Sand to seal a comprehensive 6–3 win.
Spain winn 5-3 against Ukraine.
In the final game of the Euro Beach Soccer League Division A, hosts Spain closed their campaign with a win over Ukraine. Spain took early control of the match when Chiky Ardil opened the scoring in the first period, giving his side a 1–0 lead that they held on to through the opening period.
Midway in the second period, Ridu added to Spain’s tally, capitalising on a chance to make it 2–0. The hosts maintained strong defensive discipline to keep Ukraine at bay heading into the final third.
Spain further extended their lead to 3–0 at the start of the final period, courtesy of a Ukraine own goal. However, Ukraine sparked a potential comeback with a flurry of goals from Nerush, Borsuk, and Voitok to level at 3–3. But the Spanish side wasn’t done. Kuman restored the lead, and Chiky Ardil added his second of the match to seal a 5–3 victory for Spain.
Group B
France win 8-4 against Türkiye.
France sealed a commanding 8–4 victory over Türkiye in their final Group B fixture at the Euro Beach Soccer League in Andalucia, securing the top spot in Division A with a clinical attacking performance. BRU opened the scoring and quickly doubled his tally, with Basquaise also on target to give France an early 3–0 lead. Türkiye responded through Ege, narrowing the gap before the end of the first period at 3–1.
The French extended their lead in the second period, as Angeletti and Gosselin added two more to make it 5–1. However, Türkiye mounted a spirited response. Edge struck twice, with additional goals from Hüseyin and Efe Lorenzo, pulling the scoreline back to a competitive 5–4 heading into the final period.
France showed their class in the third. BRU completed his hat-trick within the opening minute, and shortly after, Angeletti netted his second. BRU wasn’t done yet, he added a fourth to his tally to put the result beyond doubt and secure France’s 8–4 win.
Portugal win 2-1 against Poland.
Portugal closed their Group B campaign with a narrow 2–1 victory over Poland, securing second place in the standings. The Portuguese side came out strong in the opening period. Bernardo opened the scoring before Jordan added a second, giving Portugal a two-goal cushion, which they carried through the first 12 minutes.
Poland responded in the second period, with Bistuła capitalising on a rebound to slot home and reduce the deficit to 2–1 midway through the period. Despite a few more chances on both ends, neither side could add to their tally in the remainder of the second period.
The final period was a tense affair as both teams pushed for goals. Poland in search of an equaliser, and Portugal looking to seal the game. However, neither side could break the deadlock, and Portugal’s first-period advantage proved decisive. The win sees Portugal finish second in Group B.
